As a psychomotor therapist, you play an important role in the treatment and guidance of our young people. Based on your professional expertise, you contribute to observation, diagnostics, and especially treatment. You conduct intake interviews, draw up an appropriate therapy plan, and guide clients individually or in small groups. In doing so, you work closely with psychologists, educational psychologists, (system) therapists, and families to coordinate care as effectively as possible.

An important part of your work is regularly evaluating progress and adjusting the therapy plan where necessary. You actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions and maintain contact with stakeholders such as parents, schools, municipalities, and other practitioners.

In addition, you are responsible for a number of supporting tasks, such as:

• Carefully maintaining client files and reports;

• Managing materials and therapy rooms;

• Sharing your knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other professionals.

In this versatile role, you combine direct client contact with an active role in the development of treatments and collaboration within the team.

As a PMT practitioner, you are able to create combinations on different levels (cognitive, sensory, emotional, and social) that cannot be made with other treatments. Through sport, play, and body-oriented exercises, the young person literally gets moving or, conversely, pauses to reflect on his/her experiences. In this way, the client learns to recognize, verbalize, and understand body signals, feelings, and behavior patterns. Subsequently, practice is provided to reach new experiences, insights, and behaviors.

The therapist team of the treatment and diagnostics department of Pactum (JONGH4) is looking for a psychomotor therapist/professional therapist who can work in a body-oriented manner. You are an experienced, driven, enthusiastic, and flexible professional therapist who wants to strengthen our team.

What you bring:

• You have completed a higher professional education (HBO) in Psychomotor Therapy;

• You have an affinity with young people with complex behavioral problems;

• It is a plus if you can work using schema therapy;

• You possess a driver's license B and a car;

• You are registered or are willing to register with the NVDT (FVB) and Register Vaktherapie.

• A one-year contract for 24 hours per week;

• Scaling according to the CAO Jeugdzorg and based on relevant work experience;
