· A completed HBO (higher professional education) or WO (university) degree, preferably in a technical, business administration, or mechanical engineering direction

· At least several years of experience in a procurement, sales, or similar role, preferably in high-tech or manufacturing industries

· Experience with contract management, supplier development, and negotiations

· Technical insight and the ability to understand complex specifications

· Strong communication skills and persuasiveness

· Analytical, proactive, and result-oriented

The role

What you will do

As a Tactical Buyer within the Parts Manufacturing department, you are an important link between engineering, operations, and suppliers. You translate procurement objectives into concrete actions and contribute to cost control, continuity, and the further professionalization of the supply chain. You work in an environment with complex products, high quality standards, and long lead times.

What you'll do

You maintain contact with (inter)national suppliers, conduct negotiations, and work on improving supplier performance. In doing so, you collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders such as engineering, production, logistics, and quality to arrive at the best technical and commercial choices. Additionally, you deal with:

Supporting contract and price agreements with suppliers;
Analyzing market and supplier data to support procurement decisions;
Collaborating on supplier development and process optimization;
Assessing technical specifications, drawings, and manufacturability;
Contributing to improvement and optimization projects within procurement.
