Strategic Project Buyer

• You possess at least HBO/WO working and thinking level.
• You have at least 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar procurement or contracting role.
• You have experience advising projects on contracts and contract management within complex infrastructural projects, preferably within the energy, construction, or civil sectors.
• You have experience with European tenders and knowledge of UAV and UAV-GC contracts.
• You have excellent command of the Dutch language.

• You preferably have a completed NEVI 1 and/or NEVI 2 training or a comparable procurement training.
• Knowledge of tendering law and utility or infrastructure projects is a plus.

Together with your team, you work on complex tendering and contracting processes that contribute to a stable and sustainable energy system.

As a Strategic Project Buyer, you are responsible for preparing, managing, and realizing complex tendering and contracting processes within substation, cable, and line projects, so that the Netherlands can continue to rely on reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy.

• You lead complex tendering and contracting processes within multidisciplinary project teams for substation, cable, and line projects and associated services, ensuring projects have the correct contractual agreements and partners on time.
• You develop and implement procurement and tendering strategies, manage supplier selections and award processes, and contract market parties within the frameworks of the category plan, so that project objectives are effectively realized.
• You advise project teams on procurement needs and contractual possibilities, so that choices align with project objectives and applicable frameworks.
• You analyze policy frameworks, governance requirements, and organizational objectives and translate these into appropriate tendering and contracting strategies, so that projects can be executed in a compliant and controlled manner.
• You coordinate with project management, contract management, category management, legal, and finance and build sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders, so that collective project results are achieved.
• You negotiate with contractors, reach agreement on contractual arrangements, and record these in contracts and supplementary agreements, so that risks remain manageable and performance is secured.

Therefore, for full-time employment, we offer you:

• A contract with a probationary period, based on 40 hours per week.
• A salary in scale 8: € 4,276 to € 8,443 per month with 8% holiday allowance and 6% year-end bonus.
• A solid pension via ABP: we pay 70% of your premium.
