As a Buyer, you are the link that ensures materials, services, and partners align precisely with what our projects require. You translate the wishes of project teams into smart procurement strategies, manage project purchasing, coordinate procurement within Ufkes, and work daily on building strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

As a Buyer, you are responsible for the actual procurement ranging from shell construction to installations. You assess quotes on technique, quality, planning, completeness, and feasibility. Additionally, you select, evaluate, and contract suppliers and subcontractors. In this way, you ensure that the right parties and materials are available at the right time.

And furthermore:

• Seeking optimizations together with our construction partners and building and maintaining sustainable relationships;

• Negotiating prices, delivery times, terms, and contract agreements;

• Conducting market research and analyzing procurement needs;

• Monitoring the performance and quality of suppliers;

• Contributing to national VolkerWessels framework contracts and chain collaborations;

• Thinking along about sustainable, future-oriented choices in projects.

Ideally, you bring experience as a buyer within the construction industry, and after an extensive onboarding period, you will be up and running quickly. You also bring experience in preparing and guiding residential construction projects during the planning phase.
