Requirements
Education & certifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commercial Economics, or a similar field.
A few years of work experience within Procurement and/or Supply Chain.
NEVI certification is a plus.
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
Experience within a regulated environment (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or food industry) is desired.
Languages
Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
The role
We are looking for a Buyer at Abbott Weesp!
For our location in Weesp, we are looking for a Buyer of machines and services who not only ensures optimal procurement performance, but also plays an active role in improvement, implementation, and savings projects within our factories.
What you'll do
As a Buyer, you are responsible for making new machines and services available in a timely manner under optimal commercial and operational conditions. You fulfill an important role in creating and maintaining contracts and Service Level Agreements with suppliers.
You work closely with stakeholders from Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance and contribute to the successful implementation of site projects.

Contracting of materials and services and monitoring contractual agreements.
Developing, implementing, and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with suppliers.
Organizing and chairing business review meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Leading supplier implementations, change management processes, and onboarding of new suppliers.
Participating in, and coordinating, cross-functional improvement initiatives with a focus on quality, compliance, safety, and business continuity.
Supporting supplier selection and tender processes and collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
Analyzing spend data, supplier performance, and risks to identify and realize opportunities for improvement.
Actively contributing to local, regional, and division-wide strategic procurement projects.
