The role

What will you do?

As Production Department Leader, you are present on the shop floor daily. You lead a team, monitor production progress, and ensure that people, machines, and materials are utilized optimally.

You are not a manager who sits behind a desk all day. You walk around, look ahead, coordinate with colleagues, and jump in yourself when necessary. Thanks to your experience within a technical production environment, you understand how long processes take, where capacity is created or falls short, and what impact choices have on the planning. Your responsibilities include, among others:

What you'll do

Monitoring the progress of orders and the daily production planning
Assessing and allocating capacity across people and machines
Leading, coaching, and motivating employees within production
Identifying and resolving bottlenecks within the production process
Monitoring quality, safety, and delivery reliability
Thinking along regarding improvements on the shop floor
Supporting colleagues when the situation calls for it
