Production Planner

In the short term, we are looking for a for the Production division

As a production planner, you maintain an overview of the production planning for current projects as well as for new prospects. Together with the relevant stakeholders, you draw up the planning, monitor and update it, and take into account production capacity, material availability, and internal and external production processes. You make bottlenecks visible in a timely manner and, in coordination with the relevant departments, propose appropriate solutions.

• You draw up the production planning to ensure the supply chain runs as efficiently as possible and that end products, (semi-)finished products, or raw materials are in the right place at the right time;

• You translate orders into production by drawing up, coordinating, and adjusting the production planning, taking available capacity into account;

• You coordinate the production planning with Work Preparation and Project Management and liaise with other involved departments, such as Production, Purchasing, Installation, and Logistics. In doing so, you map out the necessary materials, tooling, and capacity;

• You determine the most practical and efficient work schedule and sequence of work for the internal and external production processes related to project realization;

• You monitor progress and escalate in case of bottlenecks;

• You proactively signal stagnations in the production process, propose solutions in coordination with Production, and report on this to Work Preparation and other relevant stakeholders;

• You prepare periodic reports regarding time, progress, resources, opportunities, and risks;

• By making concrete improvement proposals to the Unit Managers and Division Managers, you contribute to the preparation and continuity of the projects and thereby to the further professionalization of efficient process flow within the organization.

• You possess a higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working;

• You are independent and take initiative in this regard;

• You enjoy working with many different stakeholders and utilize your social skills in doing so;

• You are good at planning and organizing;

• You are proficient in the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;

• You can work well with an ERP system and/or other planning software such as MS Projects.
