The role

Within the role of factory engineer, you work closely with production, logistics, quality, and the internal project organization. Within the Parts department, in addition to your general duties, you participate directly in improvement projects driven by your colleague program managers, representing the technical side. You also serve as the direct point of contact for one of the production machining groups. Here, you will further deepen your process and product knowledge, supported by various technical specialists.

Your strength

As a factory engineer, together with your team, you bear the technical product responsibility for all components produced by us.

Your activities include:

• Providing support to production regarding product technical questions and quality issues;
• Acting as the internal point of contact for the assessment and processing of product changes;
• Taking responsibility for setting up the correct process steps with corresponding instructions and tools, such as packaging and lifting tooling, for our production routings;
• The setup of logistical parameters, outsourcing, bills of materials, and process steps in our BaaN ERP and Teamcenter PLM systems.
