Production Team Leader

In addition to HBO (higher professional education) level of working and thinking, you have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Preferably, you have an HBO diploma in engineering, business administration, pharmacy, or similar. You enjoy engaging with production processes and derive energy from leading and motivating employees on the work floor. You have knowledge of/or affinity with the pharmaceutical industry.

You have strong leadership qualities, you can collaborate well, and you are quality-oriented. You are a true go-getter and strive for results.

Furthermore, you are available for at least 32 hours per week and are flexible in your deployment. You meet the minimum availability requirement of two evenings per week and once every four weeks on Saturday.

In this position, you will lead employees working on the production floor of SPITS Alkmaar. Together with your fellow team leaders and assistant team leaders, you will lead a team of pharmaceutical production employees. You are responsible for realizing the daily production. To achieve this, you will be involved in organizing the execution of the activities and will ensure that the work is performed according to the established procedures and quality standards. You share responsibility for the smooth running of the Operations department, where personal initiative is valued. The Production Team Leader works under the direction of the Production Manager.

• Together with your fellow team leaders, assistant team leaders, and production employees, you ensure the smooth running of the daily production and are responsible for achieving the planned daily production.
• You provide daily leadership to the production employees on the work floor and are the point of contact for daily operations.
• You ensure a proper working atmosphere and coach employees in correctly executing the daily activities.
• In addition to daily leadership, you are a mentor for a fixed group of employees, with whom you regularly conduct attention meetings.
• You provide input for the continuous improvement of the daily production process.
• You supervise the execution of procedures aimed at medication safety.
• You have an eye for health, safety, and environmental (Arbo) regulations and submit improvement proposals where necessary.
• You contribute to the creation of various production reports (production figures, deviations, etc.).
• You take the initiative in proposing projects aimed at innovation or quality improvement.

32-36 hours per week

From Monday to Friday, we work in 3 blocks, starting from 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM. On Saturday, we work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
