As a Facilities Real Estate Manager, also known as a VvE manager, you will be given the freedom to organize your own work and help build towards the optimization of our services. Will you come to strengthen the friendly vb&t team in Arnhem? Meetings take place mainly during the day and usually online, and you can count on support with drafting the minutes.

As a Facilities Property Manager, you are responsible for managing an Owners' Association, also known as a Vereniging van Eigenaars (VvE). For a building such as an apartment complex with multiple owners, Dutch law requires an owners' association (VvE) to be established. The VvE is responsible for the maintenance of the exterior of the building and shared facilities such as a garage, lobby, and elevator(s).
Once a year, the VvE board meets, chaired by the VvE manager.
The action points arising from the meeting must be prepared and carried out, and this is one of your tasks. This includes having technical maintenance carried out by the Technical Manager, preparing financial statements, preparing meetings, and answering questions. To perform the technical management optimally, you work closely with your colleague, the Technical Manager. In short, a highly versatile pivotal role in which relationship management plays an important part.

Your main responsibilities are as follows

• Attending and/or chairing the (online) meetings;

• Executing the action points of the Meeting of Owners;

• Preparing and (coordinating) planned maintenance, monitoring and following up on reports, and handling malfunctions and damages;

• Preparing budgets, checking the annual accounts, and the timely assessment and approval of invoices for the associations;

• Proactively contributing ideas regarding process improvement;

Experience is highly desired for this position. Knowledge of VvEs is a requirement. We are looking for a colleague who: can switch gears easily, even when a day goes differently than hoped. Can prioritize well and is attentive and helpful during moments of contact.
