The role

Building Inspector in training | Eindhoven | 32 - 40 per week | Lease car | Hybrid

Recently graduated in Building Construction or perhaps you already have a little work experience? And are you looking for a job where you don't have to know everything right away, but where you learn something new every day? Then this is your chance.

We will train you within our VvEco team to become a Building Inspector. You will learn the trade in practice, receive guidance from experienced colleagues, and grow step by step into a specialist who assesses buildings, evaluates maintenance, and contributes to a more sustainable living environment.

No worries if you cannot do all of this yet. You bring your building construction foundation, and we will teach you the rest.

Our goal is for you to grow into an independent Building Inspector that clients can rely on. That is exactly what this training program is for:

A comprehensive onboarding and training program;
An experienced colleague as a permanent mentor;
The space to follow training courses and certifications;
Increasing independence as you grow.

What you'll do

No two days are the same. One day you are inspecting an apartment complex, the next day you are walking through a healthcare building or an HOA (VvE) complex.

During your training, you will learn, among other things, how to:

Perform building inspections;
Assess maintenance and technical defects;
Process inspections into clear reports;
Independently prepare MJOPs (Long-term Maintenance Plans)
Support colleagues with sustainability advice;
Communicate professionally with clients;
Work according to the applicable inspection methodologies and quality guidelines.

Requirements

Who are you
You are curious, eager to learn, and enjoy figuring out technical problems. You don't need to be an experienced inspector yet, but you do want to learn a trade.

In addition, you possess:

A completed MBO or HBO degree in Building Construction or a comparable technical education;
or approximately one year of relevant work experience within the construction or real estate sector;
Interest in real estate, technology, and sustainability;
An eye for quality and detail;
Good communication skills;
A driving license B.

About the company & team

You will join the Sustainability & Technology team.

A team of enthusiastic building specialists working daily on safe, future-proof, and sustainable real estate. We believe sharing knowledge is a matter of course. Therefore, you will receive a permanent mentor who will support you during your onboarding and training program. Together, we ensure that you develop into a fully qualified inspector. You will never be on your own.

VvEco
The VvEco team consists of 30 professionals, including project managers, EPA advisors, and technical managers. The special thing about our team is that we focus solely on HOAs (VvE’s). We know what is required to involve HOA owners in the process and to reach a collective decision. Whether it concerns painting work, renewing the roof, or a complete sustainability trajectory. Did you know, for example, that in 2024 we arrange no fewer than 1,100 planned maintenance trajectories and have already arranged subsidies/financing for 30 HOAs?
