Within Van Oers' internal IT department, we are building a stable, secure, and future-proof IT environment for all our colleagues. We support daily operations and also provide direction to the organization's digital development. We do this by smartly aligning IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud solutions, security, and workstations. Just do it: pragmatic, thoughtful, and with an eye for the user.
We know what is happening within Van Oers and translate organizational objectives into concrete IT solutions. Whether it involves setting up a future-proof enterprise architecture, guiding digital transformations, improving systems and processes, or supporting colleagues with new technologies, we ensure cohesion and continuity.
At Van Oers, you get plenty of room for growth. You work together in a committed IT team where knowledge is shared, initiative is valued, and where colleagues look out for one another. This is how you gain an advantage in your career within Internal IT at Van Oers.
As an IT Support Staff member, you are the first point of contact for colleagues with IT questions. You ensure that they can work without problems and support them with everything related to their digital workplace. Whether it is a malfunction, a question, or setting up a new workstation: you take charge and think along in solutions. You work from the service desk and are also regularly present at one of our offices to help colleagues personally. In doing so, you maintain an overview, ask the right questions, and ensure the proper handling of reports. Together with your IT colleagues, you work continuously on improving our service provision.
A glimpse of your tasks:
You accept IT reports via the ticketing system and handle them;
You resolve incidents and questions, independently or together with 2nd-line support and suppliers;
You support colleagues on-site with IT issues and workstation setup;
You check whether reports have been resolved to satisfaction;
You record common problems and solutions in the knowledge base;
You manage workstations and IT inventory, such as laptops and mobile phones;
You contribute to (innovative) IT projects;
You support the onboarding of new colleagues, so that everything works correctly immediately.
You are service-oriented and get energy from helping others. You think in solutions, remain calm during busy periods, and know how to set priorities well based on impact and urgency. You work accurately and never lose sight of the quality of service provision.
Furthermore, we ask:
With us, you may—or rather, you must—'just do it'. Saying what you do and doing what you say, that is how we work at Van Oers. We communicate clearly and honestly; we don't blow our own trumpet. Together with colleagues, partners, and clients, we put our shoulders to the wheel.
Furthermore, we offer:
A suitable salary that aligns with your knowledge and relevant work experience for this role;
27 vacation days, which can increase to 32 vacation days the longer you work with us;
Tax-free travel allowance of €0.25 per kilometer for commuting and an extra allowance for business kilometers;
Non-contributory pension with the possibility of tax-advantaged supplementary savings;
Laptop and mobile phone;
Study scheme;
Possibility to work partially from home;
Home office allowance of €2.45 per day;
€1200,- budget from Coolblue to set up your home workspace after completing your probationary period;
A well-developed onboarding process in which you get to know the organization, tasks, and colleagues.
