Project Manager New Substations South-West (Zeeland, South Holland)

• Permanent contract for 32-40 hours per week.

The energy transition requires major investments in the high-voltage grid. As Project Manager New Substations South-West, you will lead challenging projects that contribute directly to a reliable and future-proof electricity grid in Zeeland and South Holland. You will work together with a wide network of internal and external stakeholders and ensure that complex infrastructural projects are successfully realized.

As Project Manager, you are responsible for the realization of new construction and expansion projects of high-voltage substations within the South-West region. You are responsible for managing scope, planning, risks, quality, and budget, and you ensure that projects are executed safely, predictably, and according to agreement.

You are the connecting link between diverse stakeholders, including contractors, engineering firms, governments, grid operators, and internal specialists. In doing so, you lead multidisciplinary project teams and create the conditions for successful collaboration.

Your duties include

• Leading complex high-voltage and infrastructure projects.
• Leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Monitoring planning, budget, quality, and risk management.
• Managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks during project execution.
• Ensuring safe execution of work and demonstrating exemplary behavior regarding safety.
• Actively contributing to the acceleration of the energy transition through successful project realization.
• Balancing Interests: You utilize different perspectives and interests of stakeholders to arrive at optimal solutions.
• Strengthening Engagement: You ensure that team members remain motivated and work together towards realizing project objectives.
• Delivering Results: You encourage others to persevere, even when projects face setbacks or obstacles.

• Location Gouda, on average two days per week in the office, combined with working from home and presence at project locations.
