At TenneT, we work every day on the electricity grid of tomorrow. Our goal? A reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy system. Real estate projects have a direct impact on future service delivery and the management of our locations.

Will you contribute to this as Advisor Project Integration Workplace & Security (WPS)?

What you'll do

You are the central point of contact between the project organization and the Workplace and Security (WPS) team, ensuring that projects are demonstrably ready for commissioning and management.

You organize the right WPS expertise in a timely manner, monitor quality, manageability, and service delivery, and connect project teams, subject matter experts, and management. Your field of work includes, among others, workplace and layout, facility services, logistics, grounds, and security services, in connection with the relevant subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

As Advisor Project Integration Workplace & Security, you direct the involvement of WPS throughout the entire project cycle: from initiative and requirements specification to delivery, commissioning, and handover to management.

Direction and coordination

  • Acting as the central point of contact for project leads and IPM teams.
  • Managing the WPS project portfolio, including planning, impact, required deployment, and risks.
  • Organizing project meetings and a clear collaboration and documentation structure.
  • Monitoring agreements, actions, and decision-making between projects, WPS, internal stakeholders, and executing parties, and reporting on this to the Manager Business Services WPS.
  • Close cooperation with the Demand Manager/Product Designer Facility Services within WPS.

Assurance and content

  • Organizing WPS input for requirements specifications, designs, tenders, and execution.
  • Ensuring the review of design documents.
  • Engaging subject matter experts in a timely manner and independently gathering the necessary input.
  • Coordinating testing on service delivery, quality of use, safety, logistics, and manageability.
  • Identifying and escalating bottlenecks, dependencies, and risks that could affect progress or quality.

Commissioning and improvement

  • Coordinating the preparation and implementation of service delivery concepts.
  • Monitoring delivery, outstanding points, handover documentation, and acceptance by management.
  • Securing lessons learned and contributing to standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Performing or managing projects within WPS where appropriate.

You are a connecting director with project-based sharpness and a sense for service delivery. You maintain an overview in an environment with multiple projects, disciplines, and interests. You are clear about agreements, responsibilities, and results, organize decision-making, and hold parties accountable when progress or quality is under pressure. You are not a subject matter generalist, but you know which expertise is needed when and ensure that it is deployed integrally.
