The role

Keeping the Netherlands powered, that is our mission.

As a Grid Planning and Analysing Specialist, you help ensure that the electricity system remains secure, stable and future-proof. You provide specialised knowledge and skills in a specific area of expertise to drive innovation and support successful execution of projects, initiatives, innovations and/or daily operations.

Furthermore you identify the frameworks and guidelines that apply to their specific area of expertise, translate them into a business context to enable business results, and provide guidance to ensure efficiency and compliancy. By doing this you contribute to a stable, future-proof and affordable energy system.

What you'll do

  • Maintain and develop TenneT's core high-voltage grid model and derived network models for national and European power system analyses.
  • Manage model changes, data quality, and information requests to ensure accurate and reliable modelling data.
  • Continuously improve network models and underlying datasets through analysis, research, and innovation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment, consistency, and quality across network models.
  • Represent TenneT in national and European modelling and data management activities, including ENTSO-E working groups.
  • Share expertise, support colleagues with modelling and software-related challenges, and contribute to the development of a centrally managed, company-wide grid model.

The interview rounds for this position will take place after the 5th of October.

TenneT offers you the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable energy future. Together with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders, you will work on innovative solutions that enable the energy transition. We provide an environment where your growth is central.

We offer you:

* A permanent contract with a two-month probation period, based on 40 hours per week.

* A salary in scale 8

* 43 vacation days per year.

* A solid pension via ABP: TenneT pays 70% of your premium.

* Additional benefits such as health insurance, internet, and sports compensation.

* Hybrid working where possible, including an internet and home office allowance.

* Support for your vitality, with a contribution to a sports subscription and health insurance.

* Development opportunities through TenneT's training programs to continue expanding your knowledge and skills.
