Senior Project Manager

For example, you might implement a new workplace for our clients, a transition of an Azure platform, or you are responsible for replacing a critical application at a client. This can be in the form of secondment or via our own projects (Result-Oriented Assignments). For this, you will work together with Delivery Managers, Service Managers, PMOs, and technical specialists.

As a Project Manager, you manage this from start to finish by initiating the project, setting up the project structure, and from there, you ensure reporting and communication towards internal stakeholders. You steer your team towards the agreed scope and deliverables. You are always aware of what is happening in your project and adjust where necessary. You share successes with your client and team, and you stand for the result that must be delivered. By delivering the results, you also know how to make this transparent for the client, so that a formal discharge can be given. You celebrate this moment with your team as well!

• You are able to make delivered results transparent for the client and celebrate the successes of achieving those results together with your team.

• You make an impact in assignments or projects for Sogeti clients, where craftsmanship, ownership, and collaboration are central.
• You are part of the Engagement Services community, within which you can brainstorm with colleagues of various expertises about challenges, but where much knowledge sharing is also done through community meetings.
• You are part of the Project Management Guild, where colleagues with the same expertise come together to share their knowledge and brainstorm about various topics you may encounter in your assignment.
• You develop continuously; this can be professional through certifications, or you can broaden yourself by delving into which topics influence your work as a Project Manager now and in the future (e.g., AI, digital sovereignty, legislation).
• You work on-site at the client as often as necessary; on other days, you can work at the Sogeti office or from home.

• A permanent contract of 32, 36, or 40 hours with a compensation budget up to €7,101 gross per month incl. holiday allowance and mobility allowance;

• You hold a completed bachelor's degree;
• You have at least 8 years of experience in a role as a Project Manager in an IT environment
• You have a track record of at least 3 successfully completed projects on your CV;
• You have multiple relevant certifications in the field of Project Management, such as IPMA, PRINCE2, and any specializations;
• You are willing to maintain and share that knowledge;
• You enjoy achieving great results in various client environments;
• You are flexible and can switch gears quickly;
• You have strong communication skills in the areas of influencing, negotiating, and collaborating;
• You have mastered the Dutch language at a C1 level;
• A plus: you have experience within the government domain and/or within the Cloud.
