As a sleep warden, you ensure a quiet and safe night at the sheltered living location. You sleep on-site and are only woken when your assistance is truly needed. We are looking for someone who is available 1 to 2 nights. Preferably on Friday and/or Saturday night. During the night shift, you are the point of contact for clients. In unexpected situations or emergencies, you act independently, remain calm, and look for practical solutions. Of course, you are not alone: you can always consult by telephone with a colleague from the on-call service. On most nights, you can sleep undisturbed in your own room at the location. Around 07:00, you start the morning, during which you provide medication if necessary and sometimes wake residents. Afterwards, you hand over the details of the night to the residential support staff and conclude the shift with a cup of coffee or tea. For the hours from 23:00 to 07:00, you are paid for 4 hours. During these hours, you can sleep if you are not called upon. If you are woken during the night, these hours will be compensated.
You will be working at the Het Raadhuis location in Soest. The target group at this location consists of people with mental vulnerabilities, addiction issues, and potentially a judicial background (TBS, RM). This location offers individual sheltered living and guidance to clients in a group setting. There are 3 different groups that differ in the degree of structure and guidance provided. Clients can rely on guidance 24 hours a day.
