Support Worker in the Netherlands

As a support worker, you are the pillar of support for our clients in their daily lives, living, and working, based on thoughtful guidance and care plans. As a support worker, you contribute to a positive atmosphere, safety, and the well-being of our clients. With your keen observational skills, you identify and report bottlenecks in the care and health of the clients, always striving for improvement. You encourage the self-reliance of clients, especially with household tasks, and offer support with activities of daily living (ADL). Additionally, as a support worker, you maintain detailed client and daily reports, so that our care always optimally aligns with individual needs. You will be working at our protected residential location on Lorentzweg in Bussum. Here, adults with a psychiatric background live, each with their own story, care needs, and need for support. The regular teams guide clients in increasing their independence. Think of support in the areas of work, daily activities, social contacts, and finances. On the BW+ team, the residents are primarily elderly people from approximately 70 years old, who, in addition to guidance, can also use support with activities of daily living (ADL). You will join a dedicated and diverse team of colleagues with different backgrounds and experiences. Together, you will ensure a pleasant, safe, and cozy living environment in which residents can be themselves and are given space to develop. But which team suits you best? Temporarily based in Blaricum
Lorentzweg is temporarily located in the former Tergooi hospital in Blaricum (this location is also easy to reach and is located next to the highway). Our own building is being fully and modernly renovated. As soon as the renovation is complete, we will return to our renewed location at Lorentzweg.

• A completed MBO level 3 education relevant to the position.

• Experience in a similar role involving nursing and caregiving tasks.

• Affinity with the target group (adult psychiatry).

• You are willing to work varying shifts.

• You can work well independently but are also a team player, are assertive, result-oriented, and can react adequately in stressful situations.

• From a rehabilitation approach, you shape the guidance; this means that you think in terms of the client's possibilities. Stimulating their independence is central to this.

• A good salary (between € 2,735.- and € 3,560.- based on 36 hours) (CAO GGZ, FWG 35).

• Your first contract is a temporary contract. If we are happy with each other, your next contract will be for an indefinite period.
