The role

As an ambulant personal support worker, you promote the self-reliance and stability of clients in their home environment. This may be, for example, in an independent home, such as a rental or owned property. You work closely with the client and the residential support worker. We believe it is important that the client's interests always come first. Collaboration, an independent and managing attitude, and assertiveness are very important in this regard. We prefer to maintain as much autonomy as possible for the client. No two days are the same, so flexibility is second nature to you.
You support clients with psychological vulnerabilities who, with a WLZ indication, wish to live and function as independently as possible. You do this in a very practical way: for example, you help with setting up lines for domestic help, planning the week, or managing mail and administration. You also think along about establishing social contacts and maintaining structure in the day. Together with the client, you set achievable goals and regularly review the steps that have been taken. Additionally, you offer support during crisis situations or when something unexpected happens, both for clients and colleagues. On scheduled days, you are part of the on-call service, providing both planned and unplanned support.

Your workplace

With us, you will join a team where true collaboration is central. Colleagues who care for one another, learn from one another, and support one another—that is who we are. Together we celebrate successes, find solutions, and make every workday a little better and more enjoyable. We offer plenty of room to develop and grow yourself. With us, you can fully utilize your talents, discover new skills, and make a real impact. Your ideas are heard, your initiative is valued, and there is always room to realize your ambitions.

In short: here you do not work alone, but you help build an energetic team in which fun, development, and results go hand in hand. Join us and make a difference!

What you bring

We are looking for an accessible and involved support worker who can work well both independently and in a team. You are flexible, stress-resistant, assertive, and take charge in your guidance of clients. Although you work largely solo at clients' homes, we attach great value to the weekly team meeting. Here, we discuss not only work matters but also look at how everyone is doing and whether colleagues need support.

What else we expect from you:

  • A completed relevant HBO (higher professional education) degree;

  • You have relevant work experience in mental healthcare (GGZ);

  • You have experience with psychiatric disorders, psychosocial issues, and the presence approach;

  • Building and maintaining relationships comes naturally to you;

  • You have organizational and planning abilities;

  • Preference is given to possessing a B driver's license and a car;

  • No evening shifts; once every two weeks a shift until 7:00 PM. Working on Fridays is a plus.

  • You are flexible, collegial, goal-oriented, and optimistic;

  • You stand firm in your shoes, can switch gears quickly, and have a natural authority;

We offer

  • A job in which you make a difference every day!

  • A good salary between €3,088 and €4,149 based on 36 hours (CAO GGZ, FWG 45).

  • Your first contract is a temporary contract. If we are happy with each other, your next contract will be for an indefinite period.

  • In addition to the statutory 8.33% holiday allowance, you receive an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%, and at Kwintes, we offer a balance budget of €1,000 gross per year pro rata to your employment. Our lease scheme for the most beautiful and best (electric) bicycles is also worth mentioning!

  • An excellent pension scheme in which Kwintes contributes 50%.

  • A wide range of education, training, and coaching; both through our learning & development department and through external parties.

Enthusiastic? We look forward to your response via our website. You will receive an initial response from us within a few working days. Would you prefer more information first? Please feel free to contact Anke Abbink via a.vanhensen@kwintes.nl. She will be happy to tell you more! The procedure consists of 2 interviews; the 1st interview is with the recruiter and the 2nd interview is on-site with 1 or 2 colleagues and a client. If applicable, a shadowing moment and the employment terms discussion will follow. Upon employment, we request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct). This vacancy is posted both internally and externally.
Nice position, right? We therefore expect to fill this ourselves, and we find recruitment agencies to be a waste of your and our time!
