What we're looking for

  • An MBO or HBO diploma in a chemical field
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel and Word
  • Affinity with (petro)chemistry or a related field
  • Good command of both the Dutch and English languages (oral and written)
  • The following competencies: independence, team-oriented collaboration, sense of responsibility, a proactive work attitude, and result-orientation

Nice to have

The Institute for Interlaboratory Studies (iis) is looking for an enthusiastic PT specialist to join our expert and collegial team. Are you curious, analytical, and detail-oriented? Then read on quickly!

What you'll do

As a PT specialist, you play an important role within the Proficiency Test team (PT specialists), which currently consists of eight experienced professionals. You are responsible for the data analysis and reporting of the conducted Proficiency Tests (round robin studies) in a fixed annual program, which are offered in both petrochemical and consumer products.

What will you do?

  • Preparing documentation for PTs based on test methods, such as ASTM, EN, and ISO
  • Performing data analyses using basic statistics
  • Reporting PT analysis results
  • Checking PT reports from colleagues
  • Drafting questionnaires based on findings from PT tests
  • Answering technical questions from participants (in English)
  • Advising on and promoting the quality of participating laboratories
  • Co-authoring reports in which research results are statistically analyzed and interpreted (internal training)
