(Junior) Motor Claims Handler

Do you have an affinity with traffic law and does it appeal to you to investigate the circumstances of a collision and, in addition, maintain contact with all parties involved? Then this position at Sedgwick is really for you!

(Junior) Motor Claims Handler
(32 - 40 hours)

As a (junior) claims handler, you are responsible for handling motor vehicle claims. Your tasks include:

• Collecting information about the circumstances of the accident;
• Assessing policy coverage and liability;
• Taking recourse against a third-party liable party;
• Ensuring files are complete and up to date;
• Maintaining telephone contact with the parties involved;
• Handling incoming correspondence;
• Monitoring timelines and progress;
• Maintaining contact with all parties involved regarding the progress of the claim;
• Providing the administrative and financial settlement of the files.

What do you bring?

• MBO 4 work and thinking level;
• You are analytical and strong in communication;
• You have good empathy and work in a result-oriented manner;
• You communicate clearly and customer-orientedly in Dutch;
• You take initiative and are open to learning;
• You enjoy working together and helping colleagues: collaboration is in your DNA;
• Experience in claims handling is a plus, but not a requirement. We are happy to teach you the trade.
