Hedin Automotive Nederland is hiring for this role in several places. This vacancy is in the Netherlands.

This job advert was originally written in Dutch.

The role

What can you expect when you work with us? This, and more.

  • More impact. Thanks to you and your colleagues, customers can rely on expert repair of their BMW and MINI brand cars or commercial vehicles.

  • More job satisfaction. Great colleagues? Check. The confidence to do what you are good at? Check. Being at the forefront of one of Europe's largest automotive dealer companies? Check check check!

  • More opportunities. To grow. To keep challenging yourself. And to work with the latest technologies.

More for you. We don't say that for nothing.

Your job as an auto body repairer

  • Whether it concerns bumpers, fenders, doors, or other body parts: you dismantle them when they are damaged and record underlying damage. For example, by taking photos.

  • You repair body parts and replace irreparably damaged components with new ones. In doing so, you use welding equipment, measuring systems, and frame benches, among others.

  • You ensure that all repaired or replaced parts function correctly and are optimally adjusted or calibrated. For example, using an ADAS calibration system or alignment equipment.

  • During panel beating, you use manuals and other technical documentation from the manufacturer.

  • Before starting the repair, you read out faults and error codes using diagnostic equipment. After the repair is completed, you use this to check if they have been resolved. This way, the vehicles are restored to top condition and checked!

The engine behind our success? You and your colleagues!

At the Bladel location, you will work together with 7 dedicated colleagues. Whomever you approach, you will always find someone with a passion for cars. An eye for quality and for each other—that characterizes us. We are proud of what we do. And we think in terms of possibilities. Because we certainly have the courage: to try new things, to exceed expectations, and to continue developing ourselves every day.

At Hedin Automotive, you get more

More than you expect. Because in addition to a passion for cars, we primarily have a heart for our colleagues. Our standards are high. For our customers, but certainly also for what we offer you. Count on:

  • A job of 40 hours per week, with a salary that seriously rewards your knowledge, experience, and craftsmanship and stands above the collective labor agreement. Ideally, we welcome you full-time, but we are also happy to discuss 32 or 36 hours.

  • 25 vacation days (for full-time) and the option to purchase an extra 64 leave hours every year.

  • Plenty of development opportunities, including through training at brand importers or vocational schools that suit your position.

  • Great extras: such as discounts on the purchase, maintenance, and insurance of your car with us, €15 discount per month on your gym membership, collective health insurance, and a good pension scheme.

  • An employer that thinks along with you. About working hours, schedules, growth opportunities, and more. And of course, you will receive a pleasant onboarding process and good guidance.

  • A workplace in a modern workshop, where you work with good tools and equipment.

You...

With this knowledge and these skills, you hit the gas

  • Have at least an mbo 2 diploma in Auto Body Repair. Do you have an mbo 3 diploma? Then you can start working as a first-class auto body repairer.

  • Have relevant experience as a (first-class) body repairer or panel beater, for example from a previous employer or internship. Have you already worked at a brand-recognized body repair shop? Then that is a great bonus!

  • Can work independently, have an eye for detail, and like to stay informed about the latest developments and technologies.

  • Speak good Dutch or English - important for safety in the workshop.

  • Have a driver's license.

Enthusiastic? Great! Let us hear from you as soon as possible via the application form below. Want to brainstorm first? Feel free to call our recruiter.
