The role
Do you want to be part of our dynamic team in the Fleet Personal Injury department? We, MSIG Europe, are looking for a talented/motivated/experienced Personal Injury Claims Handler who handles personal injury files with passion and professionalism.
What you'll do
As a Personal Injury Claims Handler, you are responsible for the careful assessment and settlement of personal injury files. The experienced injury team is ready to work together to handle complex claims to perfection. Important in your role is the ability to interpret information in a file, apply it, and convert it into a sound and expert assessment of the damage and the claim reserve. You will also come into contact with insured parties and lawyers. You coordinate with specific specialists (such as loss adjusters, lawyers, vocational experts, and medical advisors) and you primarily investigate what the victim needs.
- Assessing coverage and liability
- Providing information to injured parties and representatives
- File handling according to the Code of Conduct for the Handling of Personal Injury Claims (GBL)
- Taking charge of the full personal injury procedure
- Maintaining frequent contact with insured parties, intermediaries, representatives, and other involved professionals
- Taking decisions and initiatives independently regarding files
- Offering guidance and support to (less experienced) colleagues
- Handling foreign claims

- Support and Guidance: In addition to your own files, you offer guidance and support to less experienced colleagues. Together, we ensure a high level of professionalism and service.
