As a Process Operator, you will work for Shell Pernis, which is the largest in Europe and one of the largest in the world. As a Process Operator, you ensure that the production process is kept running. You monitor the processes and adjust where necessary. In the event of malfunctions, you work closely with colleagues from the maintenance organization. You ensure that personnel from operational services work in accordance with the conditions set in the work permit, and you take corrective measures if necessary. You work according to a 2-2-2 continuous shift pattern in an operational crew led by the Production Team Lead. You are in continuous contact with various colleagues, where a clear focus on collaboration and safe working is important. This is where you will truly make a difference.

• Assessing deviations in the operation of processes and equipment and ensuring the monitoring and safeguarding of their conditions;

• Identifying potential problems at the earliest possible stage regarding safety, environment, and quality, and taking action thereafter;

• Interpreting analysis results and, based on these, adjusting plant conditions as necessary;

• Working with innovative and digital tools, both in the field and indoors, to ensure the plants produce optimally;

• Ensuring clear reporting during and at the end of the shift.

• Completed education as an Allround Operational Technician level 4/Process Operator C or a comparable diploma VAPRO C theory and practice;

• Experience with solution-oriented thinking;

• Experience working independently and in a team.
