In this role, you are responsible for the procurement of technical and indirect goods and services that are essential to our production sites. You negotiate with suppliers, support investment projects, and work closely with colleagues within the Netherlands and the international Lactalis network.

As a Buyer Indirects, you are responsible for an annual procurement volume of approximately €30 to €40 million. You focus on investment projects, technical maintenance, replacement investments, and other indirect expenditures.

You will work primarily from our location in Schoonrewoerd and regularly visit our locations in Wageningen and Dalfsen.

In this role, you report to the Procurement Manager.

Due to the retirement of a colleague, we are looking for a Buyer Indirects. Desired start date 1 February 2027.

Your duties include

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies;

• Setting up and managing RFI and RFQ processes;

• Negotiating with suppliers, from local specialists to international market leaders;

• Achieving cost savings and optimizations;

• Supporting CAPEX projects within our production locations;

• Drafting and monitoring contracts, SLAs, and supplier performance;

• Collaborating with colleagues from all departments;

• Being part of the European Lactalis procurement organization.
