At Royal Lactalis Leerdammer we make cheese: Leerdammer and more!
We do this with more than 440 colleagues, spread across three locations in the Netherlands. Behind Royal Lactalis Leerdammer stands the largest dairy company in the world: Lactalis, with more than 90,000 employees and nearly 300 production locations in 52 countries.
At Royal Lactalis Leerdammer, we love being good at something, but we find it even more fun to look at how it can become increasingly efficient, safer, higher quality, or more sustainable. For our customers and consumers, but also for ourselves. If you work at Royal Lactalis Leerdammer, you are also certain that you can and may develop yourself. You do this by showing what you can do and by making your wishes known.
At Royal Lactalis Leerdammer in Schoonrewoerd, there is room for a driven and highly skilled Project Leader with responsibility for technical feasibility studies and the realization of technical investment projects.
As Project Manager Industrial Automation, you will lead an ongoing multi-year PLC / SCADA project at our production site in Schoonrewoerd. Within this project, we are replacing the current Sattline control system with a future-proof solution based on PLC and SCADA technology. The scope covers almost the entire operation of the factory: from milk reception to curd preparation. In doing so, you will work on a business-critical program that contributes directly to the continuity, safety, quality, and further automation of our production processes.
You are integrally responsible for the preparation and realization of this complex automation project: from technical feasibility studies, scope determination, and investment requests to design, engineering, construction, testing, migration, commissioning, and aftercare. You monitor safety, quality, performance, budget, and planning, and ensure that the transition to the new platform proceeds in a controlled manner, with minimal impact on production. In addition, you manage multidisciplinary project teams, suppliers, system integrators, and external advisors.
You work intensively with, among others, Production, Maintenance, IT/OT, Quality & CSR, and ensure clear decision-making, progress reports, and active involvement of all stakeholders, including the steering group. You guide the project according to our EEM methodology and the guidelines and project tools of Lactalis. You also ensure a sustainable transfer to the organization through documentation, training, and knowledge transfer. With your seniority, you combine strong project management with sufficient technical knowledge of industrial automation to critically assess choices and realize the project First Time Right.
You report directly to the Manager Projects Engineering.

A down-to-earth, informal production environment in the Netherlands that is part of the largest dairy company in the world with extensive technical knowledge available, nationally and internationally;
An environment where a strong and world-famous A-brand is produced;
Plenty of opportunities for training and education.
