You are a strong and committed professional who switches easily between different locations, employees, and managers. You maintain an overview, monitor deadlines, and know how to maintain calm and structure even in complex situations.

Additionally:

• You have good knowledge of the Eligibility for Permanent Incapacity Benefit (Wet verbetering poortwachter) and relevant absence legislation.

• You have experience as an Absence Casemanager, Absence Specialist, or HR professional with a clear focus on absence.

• You possess strong communication skills and are a professional and empathetic interlocutor.

• You work in a structured, analytical, and careful manner and have an eye for file quality.

• You can handle different interests well and know how to deal with resistance in a constructive way.

• You identify risks in a timely manner and translate complex situations into clear and practical follow-up steps.

• You are flexibly deployable at our locations in Sittard, Hoensbroek, and Maarheeze. Experience within a production or logistics environment is a plus.

That is why we offer you:

• A salary between € 3,400 and € 5,500 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience.

• 8% holiday allowance, a fixed year-end bonus of 3%, and a bonus opportunity of up to 8%.

Are you an experienced Absence Casemanager who maintains an overview in complex absence files? Do you enjoy advising managers and employees and are you good at translating laws and regulations into practical solutions? Then we at Refresco have a challenging position for you.

As an Absence Casemanager, you are responsible for the guidance and management of absence files for multiple Refresco locations in the Netherlands: Sittard, Hoensbroek, and Maarheeze. You will work in a dynamic production environment where no two days are the same and contribute directly to sustainable employability and a successful return to work.

After 14 days of absence—or sooner if the situation requires it—you take control of the absence and reintegration process. You make clear agreements, monitor progress, and support both employees and managers throughout the process.

In this position:

• You manage short-, medium-, and long-term absence files.

• You monitor the steps and deadlines within the Eligibility for Permanent Incapacity Benefit (Wet verbetering poortwachter).

• You advise managers and employees regarding complex and frequent absence.

• You coordinate with, among others, the company doctor, occupational health service, and other involved parties.

• You guide reintegration processes within the first and second tracks.

• You ensure correct, complete, and GDPR-compliant documentation.

• You identify absence trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement and contribute ideas for the further professionalization of the absence policy.

Your goal? Careful guidance of absence, a sustainable return to work, and controlling absence costs and WIA risks.
