As Assistant Production Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the Production Manager in achieving our production objectives and improving our production processes.
As Assistant Production Manager, you are the pivot between the shop floor and management. You have a practical and hands-on role, with a focus on coordination, execution, and optimizing performance. Your tasks include:
- You support the preparation and execution of production plans and KPI targets;
- You monitor the daily progress of production and signal deviations;
- You support process, quality and safety assurance in accordance with applicable standards; - You contribute to Lean and improvement initiatives and support their implementation;
- You work together with team leaders and operators to achieve production and quality objectives;
- You prepare analyses and reports and provide feedback to the Production Manager.
We are looking for a colleague who recognizes themselves in the following profile:
- Higher professional (HBO) working and thinking level, preferably in a technical or business direction;
- Several years of experience in a production environment, preferably within food/FMCG;
- Affinity with Lean methodologies and process improvement; - You are practically minded, results-oriented and an expert at planning and organizing;
- You have good communication skills in Dutch and English;
- You like to take responsibility and enjoy working with people.
