ESG Coordinator Benelux

• A completed HBO or WO degree, preferably in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a similar field;
• At least three years of relevant work experience within ESG, sustainability, or a production environment;
• Knowledge of ESG laws and regulations, CSRD, ESG reporting, and certifications;
• Experience with project coordination and stakeholder management;
• Strong analytical and communication skills;

• Experience in the food industry is a plus;
• Experience with data management is a plus;

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

• A salary between € 3,400 and € 4,850, depending on experience and education;

Then the position of ESG Coordinator Benelux at Refresco is for you.

In this role, you will report to the ESG Manager Benelux and be responsible for the operational execution of the ESG strategy within our six production sites. You will ensure that sustainability objectives do not remain on paper, but are translated into concrete projects, improvements, and results on the shop floor.

You are the connecting link between the production sites, the Benelux organization, and Refresco Group. In doing so, you ensure that ESG policies, laws and regulations, and group guidelines are applied in a practical and uniform manner within the organization.

What will you do?

No two days are the same. You switch between projects, data, production sites, and colleagues from different disciplines. You ensure that ESG initiatives are actually implemented and monitor progress.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Coordinating the execution of the ESG strategy within the six production sites.
• Translating ESG policies, laws and regulations, and Refresco Group guidelines into concrete actions and improvements for the operation.
• Supporting the ESG Manager in the further execution of the ESG roadmap.
• Coordinating sustainability projects in the areas of CO₂ reduction, water consumption, waste, circularity, and other ESG initiatives.
• Guiding ESG certifications and preparing internal and external audits.
• Collecting, analyzing, and reporting ESG data for, among other things, CSRD reporting, internal reporting, and customer requests.
• Monitoring the quality and timeliness of ESG data and reports.
• Stimulating knowledge sharing, standardization, and the exchange of best practices between the different production sites.
• Collaborating with colleagues within Operations, Quality, Engineering, HR, and Refresco Group to realize shared ESG objectives.
