Junior QA Advisor

As a junior quality advisor, you know the importance of working safely with food and know what to look out for. You advise customers in your region with all kinds of questions regarding quality and food safety. This way, together we prevent food safety hazards and combat food waste. In that way, you make an impact. Will you come to strengthen our team, so that everyone can enjoy good and safe food without worry?

As a junior quality advisor, you help food companies, trading companies, and/or transporters in your region to do a little bit better every single day. But no two days are the same. At one customer, you might update a manual, while at another, you help with achieving quality certifications. At Normec Foodcare, we have a great diversity of customers and assignments. Whether you prefer fixed customers or like to switch regularly, we can offer it to you. This allows you to build up a wealth of experience and knowledge, which you can use to help new customers with their questions.

Although you often work independently at a customer site, you are part of a team of nearly 50 passionate QA advisors. Together, we possess a wealth of experience and knowledge. These colleagues are always ready to help you, just like the team leaders—whether it is for advice about work, personal circumstances, or just for socializing.

What else can you expect:

• You will be trained internally through the QA challenge program

For Normec Foodcare, we are looking for a Junior QA Advisor who creates value for the customer by arranging the best and most personal care in quality and food safety.

Further important for this vacancy:

• You possess a HBO or WO degree in Food Technology, Food & Business, or a comparable food-related education

• QA work experience, for example as a QA employee or quality employee within food production, is a plus

• You are well acquainted with quality systems such as BRCGS, IFS, or FSSC 22000

• You communicate fluently in Dutch, both orally and in writing

• You possess these competencies: entrepreneurial, independent, and customer-oriented. You can listen to the customer and motivate and persuade them to take quality awareness to a higher level

• You possess a Category B driver's license

• You are available 36 or 40 hours per week
