Role description:
Have you been active for some time as a mobility advisor at a consultancy, the national government, a province, or a municipality? And do you want to further develop yourself as an advisor and contribute to sustainable mobility and strategic accessibility? Then we would love to meet you.

Within our Sustainable Mobility and Strategic Accessibility team, you will work on issues that contribute to the accessibility of the Netherlands and the transition to sustainable mobility. Think of traffic and accessibility studies, research into sustainable mobility, mobility hubs, and mobility issues within area developments. Whether you have a few years of experience or have been in the profession for longer: at Arcadis, you can further develop yourself and work on challenging projects with social impact.

As an advisor, you work on projects in the field of sustainable mobility, strategic accessibility, traffic studies, and mobility hubs. You work as an advisor or project leader within the team, switching between content, client contact, and collaboration with colleagues from different disciplines. You conduct client meetings, think along about project approaches, contribute to quotes, and provide substantive contributions to research, advice, and plans.

Role responsibilities:
Together with the other advisors, you maintain a view of short- and long-term opportunities in the market and contribute to the positioning of Arcadis within sustainable mobility and strategic accessibility. You help translate client questions into clear project approaches and practical advice. Depending on your experience, you will also take on a role in project management, quote development, knowledge sharing, and mentoring colleagues. In this way, you contribute to major mobility issues in the Netherlands and, where possible, beyond.

Qualifications & Experience:
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a broad perspective on mobility and accessibility. You are analytically strong, switch easily between strategy and execution, and get energy from working together on social mobility issues. You are proactive, entrepreneurial, and know how to think in a client-oriented manner without losing sight of the content.
