Together with your team, you work on complex private law issues within grid expansion and renewal projects, which contribute to a stable and sustainable energy system.

As a Land Affairs Advisor, you are responsible for realizing private law agreements and advising on land and usage rights within complex grid expansion and renewal projects, so that the Netherlands can continue to rely on reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy.

What you'll do

  • You analyze private law issues and develop strategies for obtaining access permissions, rights of superficies, and usage and purchase agreements, so that projects can be realized predictably and in a timely manner.
  • You lead private law processes within medium-sized new construction, expansion, and renovation projects in the 110/150 kV and 380 kV domain, so that goals regarding time, money, and quality are achieved.
  • You coordinate with internal stakeholders, landowners, land managers, appraisers, and other external parties, so that interests are carefully weighed and sustainable agreements are established.
  • You advise management and project organizations on policy, legal frameworks, implementation issues, and positions to be taken, so that decision-making takes place carefully and with substantiation.
  • You develop project plans and budgets and monitor the progress of private law activities, so that risks are managed in a timely manner and projects are executed predictably.
  • You monitor developments within private law, assess policy and project frameworks, and act as a substantive point of contact within a core process of the department, so that knowledge, quality, and uniformity are ensured within projects.

You are part of the North environment team, where work is being done on the preparation and realization of onshore high-voltage projects in Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe, and Noordoostpolder. In this role, you combine substantive private law expertise with project-based responsibility. You operate in a complex environment with diverse interests and make an important contribution to the expansion and strengthening of the Dutch electricity grid.
