The role

Discover what is truly hidden behind a building

What is the technical state of a building? What risks are there? And what investments are needed to make a real estate portfolio future-proof?

Clients are increasingly engaging an independent research firm for building inspections and advice. SGS Search is such a firm. We sit at the table with the biggest players within the real estate world. Both domestically and abroad. As a Building Inspector / Advisor at SGS Search, you provide clients with the insight they need to make important real estate decisions. For example, you ensure that a Swiss investor gains insight into the technical state of a property or the real estate portfolio before a purchase.

For our offices in Heeswijk-Dinther and Amsterdam, we are looking for an experienced building professional who looks beyond just the technical details.

A colleague describes the role as follows:
‘You inspect various buildings domestically and abroad using a company car. In the office, you work together with pleasant and expert colleagues from whom you can learn a lot. There is also plenty of room to develop yourself by following courses or taking on tasks within other departments.'

What you'll do

Your work: investigating, advising, and looking ahead
You independently perform technical inspections on various buildings and translate your findings into clear, well-substantiated reports. In doing so, you do not only look at the current state of the real estate, but you also advise clients on risks, maintenance strategies, and possible investment scenarios.

As a medior or senior, you also take an active role within the team. You share your knowledge, mentor junior colleagues, and think along about commercial opportunities, innovation, and the further development of our inspection tools and reports. Depending on your experience, you can also coordinate projects and maintain contact with important clients.

Vacatureomschrijving

This is what you bring...

Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:
