Project Manager Sustainability

Do you want to play a key role in realizing Miele's sustainability ambitions in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and France? Are you strong in project management, stakeholder management, and translating strategy into concrete results? Then we are looking for you.

As Project Manager Sustainability, you are responsible for coordinating, realizing, and further developing the sustainability agenda within Cluster Western Europe. You work together with colleagues from different countries and disciplines and ensure that sustainability initiatives do not just exist on paper, but actually make an impact on our organization, customers, and environment.

Your job as Project Manager Sustainability at Miele Netherlands

• You translate Miele's sustainability strategy into a concrete roadmap, project portfolio, and successful implementation within Cluster Western Europe;
• You initiate and guide projects in the field of CO₂ reduction, circularity, and other sustainability initiatives, from business case to scaling up;
• You are responsible for project governance, reporting, progress monitoring, and the realization of sustainable results;
• You coordinate CSRD data collection and support the cluster with sustainability-related laws and regulations, including EPR obligations;
• You are the central point of contact for sustainability within the cluster and work closely with the international Sustainability team, local stakeholders, and external partners;
• You work solo and independently. You are the only person fulfilling this role. Therefore, it is important that you can get others moving.

• An excellent salary appropriate to your experience between €4,000-4,800 per month. In addition, you receive 8% holiday allowance, 4% year-end bonus, and a maximum of one month's performance bonus;

You are an independent professional who moves easily between strategy and execution. You know how to connect stakeholders, structure complex projects, and convert sustainable ambitions into concrete results. In doing so, you dare to take ownership and switch easily between different countries, departments, and interests.

In addition, you possess:

• HBO or WO (Bachelor's or Master's) level of work and thinking, preferably in the direction of Business Administration, Sustainability, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, or similar;
• At least 4-7 years of experience in project or program management, sustainability, circularity, or business development;
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to exert influence without a formal hierarchical position;
• Experience in drafting business cases, reports, and realizing organization-wide improvements;
• Affinity with sustainability and the manufacturing industry. Knowledge of circularity, CO₂ reduction, CSRD, or EPR is a strong advantage;
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
