Sometimes according to plan, sometimes because practice demands it. But whatever the situation, you get the freedom and the responsibility to organize it your way. Together with your team, you ensure everything is correct, from the daily operation to the long term. Something for you?

As a Maintenance Project Manager at SWARCO, you are responsible for the complete organization, project monitoring, finances, and communication of the various maintenance contracts from our branch in Wormerveer. A diverse portfolio in which bridges and locks are alternated with technical installations at Schiphol. Of course, you do not do this alone. You lead the service manager and technical manager and work closely with the project coordinators and service technicians within the team. They are close to the daily operation; you maintain control over the whole.

You understand how maintenance contracts work and what is required to execute them successfully. You ensure contracts run as they are intended, with control over planning, quality, costs, and risks. You are visibly involved, keep your finger on the pulse, and adjust where necessary. You make clear agreements and ensure everyone knows where they stand. In doing so, you work closely with subcontractors and other internal combination partners, so that the work is carried out safely and efficiently.

You also play an important role towards our clients. You discuss progress, ensure that agreements are met, and build a sustainable collaboration. You think along about improvements and advise on the optimal deployment and performance of the installations.

In addition to managing the existing contracts, you also have a clear commercial role. Whether it concerns improvements within existing contracts or opportunities in the region, you identify opportunities and convert them into concrete results. You work together with the tender team, provide crucial technical and commercial input, and are not afraid to develop a proposal yourself and present it to the client. You are the face of SWARCO in the region, and that face deserves to be seen! That makes you not just a manager, but also an entrepreneur.

You work closely with colleagues within SWARCO and with other maintenance project managers in the various regions. Together, you form the maintenance network of SWARCO. You have a lot of freedom in your role, but you are never alone.
