Project Manager

That is why we are looking for an experienced Project Manager Customer Implementations who takes ownership, thinks ahead, and gets energy from complexity.

As an interim Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for the implementation of new customers and leading complex projects within our warehousing organization. As soon as a contract is signed, you take over the baton from sales and guide the customer step by step towards a successful go-live.

- Managing customer implementations and customer programs;

- Setting up and monitoring structure, governance, and progress;

- Active stakeholder management at operational, IT, and management levels;

- Continuously making risks, issues, and dependencies explicit;

- Driving decision-making and delivery, not just planning;

- Timely and substantiated escalation when necessary.

In addition to managing your own projects, we expect you to actively contribute to the further professionalization of Project Management within Rhenus:

· Thinking along with and contributing to the further development of our PM approach, standards, and working methods.

· Sharing knowledge, experience, and best practices within the PM team.

· Identifying opportunities for improvement in projects, processes, and collaboration and actively proposing them.

· Acting as a substantive sparring partner for fellow PMs and the Team Lead Projects.

· Contributing to an open, learning culture in which giving and receiving feedback is second nature.

• You are an experienced, professional project manager

• You oversee complex processes and think in connections

• You feel comfortable in a customer-oriented role with commercial dynamics

• You can work according to various PM methods (scrum / agile / waterfall), depending on the context, with a focus on results.

• You communicate easily in Dutch and English

• Result-oriented: you drive towards goals, decisions, and impact, not just progress.

• Proactive: you anticipate risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies and act ahead of time.

• Ownership: you take responsibility, make agreements explicit, and follow through on them.

• Feedback driven: you ask for feedback, dare to give feedback, and use this to improve.

Experience in logistics or warehousing is desired.
