Mechanical Engineering Project Manager Residential Construction in the Netherlands

Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineering Project Manager in Residential Construction and used to leading multiple residential construction projects independently? At Van Hoften Installatietechniek, you will get control over large new construction projects: from technical preparation and planning to execution, finance, and delivery.

You will work with experienced colleagues, regular contractors, and project developers and will receive a lot of freedom to successfully organize your projects in your own way.

As a Mechanical Engineering Project Manager in Residential Construction, you are responsible for your projects from preparation to delivery. You maintain oversight, make decisions, and ensure that technology, planning, people, and finances come together.

You will, among other things:

• Leading residential construction projects from preparation through to delivery.

• Managing project teams and ensuring good cooperation between work preparation and execution.

• Monitoring planning, quality, costs, and project results.

• Maintaining contact with contractors, project developers, suppliers, and other project partners.

• Reviewing technical details and installation drawings.

• Identifying risks and bottlenecks early and making targeted adjustments.

• Thinking along about smart technical solutions and efficient execution.

In short: you take control and ensure that your projects are realized well both technically and financially.

For this position, we are looking for someone who knows residential construction projects and knows what is required to organize them well.

• You have experience as a Project Manager or Project Leader within mechanical engineering installation technology.

• You have experience with residential construction and preferably large-scale new construction projects.

• You are familiar with mechanical residential installations and can review technical drawings.

• You maintain oversight of planning, finance, technology, and people.

• You communicate easily with clients, colleagues, and partners on the construction site.

• You take responsibility, think ahead, and adjust when necessary.
