• A gross annual salary, including holiday allowance and bonus, between € 55,000 and € 72,000 per year based on 40 hours per week, depending on your knowledge and experience.

Then the position of Senior Accountant at Miele is your next career step! In this role, you form the hub between the financial processes, the people involved, and the associated administration. Together with the controllers, the Shared Service Center, and external parties, such as our accountants and advisors, you ensure correct accounting. This includes not only an accurate processing of the figures, but also identifying bottlenecks and risks regarding laws and regulations. What you will do with us:
As a Senior Accountant, you play an essential role in safeguarding the financial integrity of the organization. You ensure correct financial administration, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with the group's financial guidelines and local laws and regulations. Thanks to your eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and pursuit of quality, you contribute to effective financial management. You are the first point of contact for the Dutch branch and the right hand of the Accounting Manager, who is responsible for the Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, and France cluster.

• Assisting with the monthly and year-end closings for the Dutch entity, in collaboration with our teams from the global Shared Services organization (MGS) in Poland.
• Ensuring correct bookings, provisions, reconciliations, and allocations to cost centers and profit centers.
• Being the point of contact for internal and external audits.
• Supporting the tax and legal compliance processes, including VAT returns and other legally required filings.
• Evaluating internal systems, controls, and risks and formulating recommendations for improvements.
• Contributing to Dutch and international projects regarding process optimization.
• Assisting the FP&A team with financial transparency, reporting, and follow-up.
