Make the difference in the Intensive Care unit.
As Intensive Care Team Leader at Maastricht UMC+, you provide direction, inspire people, and build a team in which trust, development, and collaboration are central. You ensure a safe and warm working environment in which professionals take ownership and bring out the best in themselves every day.

Ready to make a real impact as a professional? Then we are looking for you!
What does your work environment look like?
Stronger together for top-tier care, together we make the difference.
Make an impact in a dynamic academic environment where expertise, team strength, and commitment come together. On our Care units, passionate multidisciplinary teams work every day on highly complex, academic top-tier care for patients in critical condition.
As a team leader, you connect professionals, stimulate collaboration, and provide space for growth and ownership. Together with your fellow team leaders, the nursing department head, and the medical head, you form the management team, based on trust, collegial leadership, and learning together.
Would you like to shadow us for a day? That is also one of the possibilities!
What do we ask of you?
You provide direction, you make the difference.
We are looking for a strong, confident, and committed leader who knows how to translate policy into practice and knows how to bring people along in that process. You inspire, set clear frameworks, and create space for ownership, development, and collaboration. You have a suitable professional background within the hospital organization and understand the dynamics and complexity within the acute cluster. This can be from a clinical, paramedical, or supportive role. You possess at least a degree in a healthcare-related field and demonstrable higher professional (HBO) working and thinking level (via assessment). Do you not yet have an HBO management degree? Then you will be given the opportunity to follow one, fully funded via MUMC+.
You are capable of driving change, result-oriented, and think ahead about future-proof care. Together with a multidisciplinary team, you work every day on better care and recognize yourself in our MUMC+ competencies: cooperative, entrepreneurial, flexible, and leadership-oriented.
