Digital solutions are indispensable for Air France-KLM: from e-commerce platforms for our customers to software that supports our fleet and operations. As an IT Buyer, you connect the organization's ambitions with the best solutions in the market. You will work on challenging sourcing projects, research suppliers and market developments, and translate your insights into well-considered procurement strategies. In doing so, you make a direct contribution to a future-proof Air France-KLM organization, both on the ground and in the air.
In this role, you will be given the space to make an impact.

You:

• builds strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers;
• leads RFI and RFP processes from market exploration to supplier selection;
• acts as the trusted advisor for IT procurement within one or more business units of Air France-KLM;
• negotiates optimal commercial terms and establishes clear, future-proof agreements;
• combines speed and quality and always makes the right balance between urgency, risk, and result;
• identifies market developments and translates these into practical and convincing advice for the business and your procurement colleagues.

You will join the international IT Procurement team Business Software & Licenses at Air France-KLM. We work as one integrated procurement organization, in which colleagues from Air France and KLM combine their knowledge, experience, and network. You will receive your own portfolio of projects and areas of focus, where you will take independent responsibility and work closely with colleagues across national and company borders.

You switch effortlessly between different interests and know how to bring people along with your approach. With your analytical eye, you quickly reduce complex issues to their core and translate them into clear, achievable solutions. You take initiative, work pragmatically, and build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers. In this way, you create support and results within the integrated procurement organization of Air France-KLM.

In addition, you bring the following:

• a relevant HBO or university degree;
• at least three years of relevant procurement experience and the ability to independently manage RFI and RFP processes, from market exploration to supplier selection;
• demonstrable affinity with IT, software, and SaaS, combined with commercial insight and strong negotiation skills;
• strong communication and stakeholder management skills and an excellent command of English, so that you can collaborate effectively within the international organization of Air France-KLM.
