The role

Imagine this: your craftsmanship in a team that builds the most exclusive interiors in the world. At De Klerk Binnenbouw, part of the prestigious Feadship Group, 170 professionals contribute to the creation of luxury superyachts, each unique and fully custom-made. We combine artisanal tradition with innovative technologies and strive for perfection.

What you'll do

As a Project Interior Buyer, you don't just buy parts. You manage project procurement from A to Z and are involved early in commercial quotation processes. In doing so, you lay the foundation for quality, security of supply, and a healthy project result even before execution.

You are part of the project team and work closely with the Project Manager and Project Control. From a procurement perspective, you bring overview, momentum, and commercial sharpness. You create the procurement plan, keep long lead times and contractual agreements in sight, and intervene before a bottleneck affects the project.

  • You join commercial quotation processes early and translate project needs into a well-thought-out procurement plan.
  • You organize project procurement from A to Z: from market research, inquiry, and comparison to negotiation, contracting, and delivery.
  • You purchase materials, special interior products, outsourced work, and services for exclusive, technically complex projects.
  • You monitor planning, timeliness, contractual agreements, and special procurement items, and you also actively manage suppliers.
  • You take responsibility for procurement finances, report to the Project Manager and Project Control, and provide a monthly forecast.
  • You look beyond fixed categories and existing suppliers. You investigate alternatives and choose the approach that moves the project forward.
  • You build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, without losing sight of commercial interests.
