Then this is your next destination.
Within KLM Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) Finance, we are looking for a Financial Process Improvement Manager who plays a key role in continuously improving, standardizing, and future-proofing our financial processes.

  • digitization and automation.

You map processes end-to-end, analyze performance based on data, and identify opportunities for improvement. You then translate these into concrete improvement initiatives and ensure they are successfully implemented and sustainably secured.
You are responsible for the entire improvement trajectory: from analysis and business case to implementation, securing, and result measurement.
In doing so, you work intensively with Finance colleagues, business controllers, process owners, and operational stakeholders.

Additionally:

  • you support the business and business controllers with complex process improvements;
  • you lead Continuous Improvement initiatives within Finance and the operational chain;
  • you simplify, standardize, and optimize financial processes;
  • you stimulate data-driven decision-making and process control;
  • you contribute to harmonization and standardization projects within KLM E&M, Air France Industries, and KLM Finance;
  • you ensure that process improvements meet the requirements regarding governance, compliance, and internal control.

Continuous Improvement and methodology development

In addition to achieving improvements, you play an important role in further professionalizing Continuous Improvement within E&M Finance.
You support colleagues in applying improvement methodologies, project-based working, and change approaches. Additionally, you help in further developing standards, templates, reports, and best practices that contribute to an efficient and effective improvement organization.
You also remain actively informed about developments in the fields of digitization, process management, data analysis, and AI, and translate these into concrete applications for the financial organization.

Your profile

You are an experienced process improver who quickly grasps financial processes and knows how to turn improvement opportunities into concrete results.
You combine strong analytical skills with persuasiveness and know how to bring people along during changes. In doing so, you have an eye not only for improvement but also for the sustainable securing of results, internal control, and compliance.
