Check in for your next career step: team member import/export at KLM! Together with your colleagues, you ensure that air freight is handled smoothly and quickly. In this way, you contribute to a seamless operational process and unforgettable flights.
At Schiphol, there is a constant coming and going of international flights with cargo on board. You ensure that cargo ends up in the right place and can proceed safely. You load and unload freight from customers in the Benelux, check shipments for flight safety, and register everything accurately. You also check incoming freight for irregularities and store accepted cargo safely.
Furthermore:
Your workplace is at Schiphol-Centrum, in Import/Export, part of KLM Cargo Worldwide Operations. You work closely with your own team and with colleagues from, among others, Documentation and Build Up & Break Down. Together, you ensure a smooth operational process. In this position, you work a roster (7 days per week) with early shifts (06:00-14:30), late shifts (14:00-22:30), and night shifts (22:00-06:30).
You maintain an overview when tasks alternate and follow procedures carefully. You pay attention to the quality of your work, coordinate easily with colleagues, and take initiative when you see that something can be improved.
Furthermore:
The following competencies complete your profile: Stress resistance, Collaboration, Proactive & Communicative skills.
Then do not wait any longer, and apply for the 'final boarding call' on 09-11-2026!
You do not need to write a motivation letter; during your online application, we will ask you several targeted questions. Your application procedure consists of two interviews and a security investigation. The 1st round of interviews will take place on: Tuesday 24 November 2026 and Thursday 26 November 2026.
Candidates who are positively selected for the first interview will receive an email in which they can choose a suitable time slot for the interview themselves. This keeps the process fast and clear, and gives you control over your schedule. You will hear from us within two weeks after the vacancy closes.
You can log in to your personal candidate profile at any time. Here you will find the vacancy you applied for - even after it has closed - as well as a clear dashboard with any other ongoing applications within KLM, including status updates. Do you have the drive to grow further in this role? Then we look forward to your application.
Did you know that according to research, women are less likely to apply than men if they do not meet all the job requirements? A pity. Because 'the perfect candidate' is, in our view, a myth. So, do you have the drive to still grow in some aspects of this role? We look forward to your application.
A reference check may be part of the application procedure.
