Mechanic Internal Rework

• A completed technical MBO education at level 3 or 4, for example in aircraft maintenance or mechanical engineering, or a comparable education;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages to be able to read work instructions and technical information;
• Experience with metalworking is a plus;
• Experience with using measuring tools is a plus.

As a Mechanic internal rework, you give aircraft parts a second chance. With your repairs, you contribute to cost savings and sustainability. You will work on parts of Auxiliary Power Units and aircraft components, where safety, quality, and accuracy are central. In this role, you will work together with mechanics and technical experts within a fast-growing and informal organization where innovative ideas are taken seriously.

The main tasks and responsibilities of the Mechanic internal rework are:

• Preparing and performing repairs on APU parts and aircraft components;
• Performing metalworking, such as grinding and drilling;
• Performing Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection for quality controls;
• Working according to applicable work instructions, manuals, and safety and quality regulations;
• Checking parts and recording performed work and findings;
• Identifying deviations and contributing to structural solutions and improvements;
• Proactively collaborating with fellow mechanics and engineers.
