As Purchaser FRC & Group Procurement Coordinator, you combine the daily procurement for FRC with an important coordinating role in the execution of the Elastofirm Group Purchasing Strategy. You ensure the availability of materials, competitive terms, and reliable suppliers. At the same time, you connect the purchasers of the group companies, organize joint initiatives, and monitor progress and results.

The group strategy rests on three pillars: (1) Raw Materials: segment strategies per raw material category; (2) External Compounds: leveraging collective purchasing power for externally sourced compounds; (3) Non-Raw Materials: gradually bundling categories such as packaging, transport, energy, and services at the group level. Local purchasers remain responsible and can lead a group category as a Category Leader.

• Executing and coordinating orders, order confirmations, and delivery follow-up.
• Ensuring material availability; negotiating prices, contracts, and delivery terms.
• Managing supplier relationships, market developments, and delivery risks; coordinating with Planning, Production, and R&D.
• Coordinating initiatives within the three pillars: Raw Materials, External Compounds, and Non-Raw Materials.
• Inventorying suppliers, volumes, prices, and contracts; identifying opportunities for bundling and joint sourcing.
• Supporting segment strategies, joint tenders, and negotiations, while maintaining local responsibilities.
• Building and connecting a network of purchasers who guide specific segments as Category Leaders.
• Developing and maintaining a Group Purchasing Calendar together with Category Leaders, including tenders, contract renewals, and evaluations.
• Monitoring and reporting on actions, ownership, deadlines, progress, and realized benefits.
• Realizing concrete procurement savings and improvements in security of supply.
• Improving supplier management, contract information, spend analyses, and ERP data.
• Promoting practical cooperation and standardization, without unnecessary bureaucracy.

You are an entrepreneurial, hands-on purchaser who is firmly rooted in daily practice and also sees opportunities beyond your own plant. You are commercially sharp, structured, and result-oriented. As a natural connector, you engage colleagues from different companies, even without formal hierarchical authority. You value clear agreements and follow-up, and you get energy from developing new collaborations.

Core of the function: a strong purchaser for FRC who helps organize and realize the collective purchasing power of Elastofirm.
