Chemical Management System Project Assistant

• 16 hours per week for 10 weeks
• €17,- per hour
• You will supplement missing chemical safety data in the Toxic management system, based on suppliers' Safety Data Sheets.
• We expect you to handle data accurately, independently, and critically, and to be quickly trained in a new system.
• This project is entirely on-site in Papendrecht

The organization you will be working for uses a digital management system, Toxic, in which all chemicals used within the organization are registered. Important safety, material, and product data are maintained here. To ensure that this information is complete and up to date, a 10-week project is being launched.

As a project assistant, you will work on supplementing and verifying missing data. For this, you will use the suppliers' Safety Data Sheets. You will search for missing information, check whether the data already in the system is still correct, and supplement it where necessary. In doing so, you will work closely with the contact person within the company and build up knowledge of chemical management within a technical production environment.

You will be working at an organization within the aviation industry at a large technical production site in Papendrecht. At this location, high-quality systems and components are developed for both commercial and military aircraft.

Within the project, you will work together with the department responsible for the management of chemicals and associated safety information. This department monitors, among other things, safety and compliance regarding the use of chemicals within production processes and ensures that the necessary documentation remains up to date and accessible.

• You are accurate and systematic, and have an eye for detail when checking and processing data.
• You are studying at HBO or WO level in a technical or chemical field (such as Chemical Engineering, Aerospace, or similar) and are available for 16 hours per week.
• You can independently extract information from Safety Data Sheets and interpret and process it correctly.

• You are willing to apply for a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct) and to work entirely on-site in Papendrecht during the project.
