Ivy Global is growing fast and we are taking our technological expertise to the next level. We develop smart in-house applications and AI tools that automate complex business processes, so that our consultants can directly add maximum value in industry and the energy transition. To turn loose scripts and models into full-fledged, production-ready software, we are looking for a developer who is already well-acquainted with the AI landscape.

In this role, you combine the skills of a software engineer with your specific expertise in artificial intelligence. You build, fine-tune, and optimize applications powered by advanced models (think of LLMs, Agentic workflows, or RAG pipelines). You ensure that AI does not just work on paper or in a Jupyter Notebook, but integrates seamlessly into our systems as robust software.

Because you have already logged flight hours in AI development, you are the subject matter lead within our innovation team. You help colleagues make the right architectural choices, review AI-related code, and introduce best practices that the entire team learns from.

You will be working within our in-house innovation team in Eindhoven, directly on the TU/e campus. We work according to the Semco style: that means no hierarchical managers, but plenty of personal responsibility, autonomy, and trust regarding the tools you develop.

• Relevant studies & practical experience: You are pursuing a HBO or WO degree in the direction of Artificial Intelligence, AI Engineering Systems, Computer Science, or Data Science, or you have recently graduated. You have already gained demonstrable experience with applied AI through challenging study projects, extracurricular activities, or a previous internship/part-time job.
• Strong Python & Software Engineering Skills: You write clean, modular Python code and know how to integrate models into full-fledged software architectures via APIs.
• Experience with Applied AI: You have experience building AI-driven applications (e.g., with LLM APIs, LangChain/LlamaIndex, RAG architectures, embeddings, or vector databases).
• Focus on Quality & Validation: You understand that production AI must be reliable, fast, and secure, and you know how to evaluate and optimize model output.
• Communicative & Knowledge Sharer: You are proactive, assertive, and enjoy transferring your knowledge of AI technologies to your teammates to grow together.
