As a Maintenance Engineer, you get to decide what a day looks like. You will spend the largest part of your time on location at our client HVC in Alkmaar. Here, as a Young Professional, you will work on your own project.

As a Maintenance Engineer at HVC, you are the indispensable bridge between the management's will and what is operationally feasible in the factory. You establish processes and monitor them during execution. Additionally, you are responsible for processing valuable information from knowledge holders into clear protocols, in order to standardize maintenance. You do this in close cooperation with the Plant Engineers (the final responsible parties for specific installation parts), Work Preparers, the Projects Department, and the Installation Technician. Collaborating with various stakeholders is therefore an active and important part of your daily work, as you depend on the information from these specialists.

The types of projects you will be heavily involved in are data and analytical projects, but also projects that require a deeper problem analysis. The diversity of projects teaches you critical and problem-solving thinking, which requires a healthy dose of initiative to truly investigate topics further. Commonly used systems in which you will work include the EAM system (HVC's OBS), Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and M-Files (the documentation storage system).

Based on working on this project, two options are open to you:

1. Is there sufficient work within your project and can you use extra hands? Then you can grow into a project manager. In this role, you will deploy students on the project, monitor execution, discuss progress, and manage the students.
2. The other option is to delve even deeper into the content and the technology. In this case, you will grow into a consultant.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial person with a critical eye. You are a builder: you will expand your project at HVC, but also help with the growth of our own organization.

We are looking for:

• Education: HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level, preferably in the direction of Mechanical Engineering (WTB) or another technical study with a strong interest in maintenance.
• Experience: You are either (almost) finished with your studies or you already have a few years of work experience.
• Hardskills: You know what an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system is and you are familiar with the basics of our services (you know what a P&ID is, how an asset structure is composed, etc.).
• Softskills: You are communicatively skilled, people-oriented (in relation to stakeholder management), and you can work very precisely.
• Personality: You are innovative, energetic, show initiative, and love freedom in your work.
• You are a true team player and possess a driver's license.
