A large terminal is currently implementing a maintenance management system. In the first phase, all installations were neatly entered into the system, and that task is now complete. Now the next step begins: making the system truly work. To do this, the year of manufacture, serial number, and required maintenance must be known for all assets. Without that data, the asset structure is not complete enough to properly perform and record maintenance. The goal is to extract maximum return from the assets. Organizationally, the terminal wants to be a leader and be prepared for things that might break, so they can proactively address them instead of reacting too late. Furthermore, a good and up-to-date asset structure provides everyone with an overview and shows that the terminal complies with laws and regulations, even if questions arise during an audit. The project focuses on all assets of the terminal.

As a project assistant, you will ensure that this data is in order. You will look up and supplement the missing information per asset, such as year of manufacture, serial number, and maintenance data. You will work extensively in Excel, where you collect, verify, and structure the data before it is recorded in the maintenance management system. Where information is missing or incorrect, you will engage in conversation with the people at the terminal to get it brought to light.

• You are pursuing a technical degree (HBO or WO), preferably in mechanical engineering, process technology, or a similar field
• You work accurately and in a structured manner and maintain an overview of large amounts of data
• You are proficient with Excel
• You are assertive and ambitious: you dare to ask follow-up questions, identify what is missing, and take initiative
• You are available for 16 hours per week
