Project Management Graduation Internship

During your graduation internship, you will work within one of our Project Management & Transformation teams. You will investigate how AI and data-driven working shape the future of projects, project organizations, and professionals.
You can further refine your own graduation topic or choose from (a combination of) the thematic areas and assignments below.

AI in Project Management & PMO automation
How is AI changing the way projects are planned, managed, and supported?
Possible assignments:

• AI-driven reduction of PMO and Project Office tasks
• AI support for planning and work management in project teams
• AI-based cost forecasting in agile project environments
• Looking ahead within projects: AI and the project triangle (time, money, scope)
• Dynamic Value Stream Mapping to support project control

AI adoption & change science
Why does AI often get stuck in the experimentation phase, and how do you ensure structural impact?
Possible assignments:

• AI adoption by project managers: from experiment to structural impact
• A methodology to systematically identify AI opportunities in projects
• The project manager of the future in an AI-driven context

Governance, compliance & reliability of AI
How do you ensure control, compliance, and quality in increasingly autonomous AI solutions?
Possible assignments:

• Monitoring of agentic AI workflows (drift monitoring)
• Automated compliance filter for project and delivery environments

People, talent & community in project organizations
What role do engagement, talent, and communities play in successful transformations?
Possible assignments:

• Retention of talent in project-oriented organizations
• Strengthening engagement within Young Professional and EM communities

• You are pursuing a HBO or WO degree in a relevant field
• You are available for at least 5 months starting from February 2027
• You are looking for a substantive graduation internship, not a shadowing internship
• You are analytical, independent, and curious about AI and innovation
• You want to contribute to real projects and organizational change
• You want more than just watching; you want to make an impact with your graduation research.
• And you have full command of the Dutch and English languages, both orally and in writing, due to the international nature of our clients.
